The Washington County Fun Day for special needs students, organized by Derek Sidwell, was honored as Outstanding new program. Congratulations!




Dawson Layton and Kaitlyn Lipscomb being recognized by Board of Education President Stephanie Lang as our nominees for the Ohio School Board Association’s SE Ohio outstanding male and female students. Congrats!

Family Career Awareness Day is set up to help parents become familiar with opportunities in the area as well as provide experiences and provoke conversation for our students in grades 7-12. Local businesses have reached out to us to build their workforce and increase their resources by educating students and families about available careers as well as entry-level jobs. This event is designed to further our goal to foster student, business, and civic relationships to inspire career choices through experience, entrepreneurship, and education.

National School Bus Safety Week

Fort Frye drivers are vigilant and careful, safety is always on their minds while operating the big yellow bus or a school van.


Wellness Coordinator Megan Lang has picked up our apples for the upcoming Apple Crunch next week!


Salem-Liberty students support the Fort Frye High School Boys' Golf Team as they compete at the State Championship! Let's Go Cadets!


The electric is out at Salem-Liberty Elementary School.
Students are being fed lunch and classes are continuing.

Join us outside of FFHS and down State Route 60 tomorrow (Thursday, 10/13) at 8 am to send off our FFHS Boys Golf Team as they head to the state tourney!

Lady Cadets are the class 3 OVAC champions. Cadence Waller won, Ava Huck finished second, and Emma Richards finished fifth.
For the boys’ team, Phinn Spindler finished third, and Alex Henke finished eighth.
