Fort Frye High School

With Veterans Day approaching, we are asking for your help. If you know a Fort Frye alumni who has served our nation please send the name, branch of service, and graduation year to Pam Bennett at Pam.bennett@fortfrye.org. Pictures are appreciated but not required. If you aren’t sure if a veteran is already part of our slideshow, please send the information and we will check!  Students are shown the slideshow each year on Veteran’s Day and it is put on our digital sign in front of the school. 

The volleyball team will play on Monday October 16, at Claymont High School in the sectional semifinal. The game will start at 6:00 pm. Tickets can be purchased online at ohsaa.org, or at the gate for cash. Online tickets will be cheaper.

We are looking forward to our guest speaker at Fort Frye High School on October 17th.

Interim grades have been posted in Infinite Campus. Please log-in to view the report and current grades. If you need help logging in, please contact Suzi White at suzi.white@fortfrye.org or call the High School office. Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday, October 12 from 1-7pm. Contact Mrs. Walsh at kelli.walsh@fortfrye.org or contact any specific teacher to schedule a conference.

The Waterford at Fort Frye "Volley for a Cure" game is Monday October 2nd at Fort Frye High School. Come support the volleyball teams! There will be a Country Store and 50/50 with all proceeds to Strecker Cancer Center. Doors open at 4:30pm with the JV starting at 5:30pm followed by the Varsity girls.

It has been reported to us that our Varsity Football game for this week was listed as a home game. We DO NOT play at home this week, our game is Saturday September 23, at Linsly. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:30 pm. Tickets for the game are $6 for adults $5 for students. The address for the stadium is 108 Leatherwood Lane, Wheeling, WV 26003. Friday night's Varsity Football game vs. Bishop Tonnos will be Youth Night. Any elementary student who is playing football or cheering for the Lowell Patriots or the Beverly Cadets will be given free admission to the game with their jerseys or uniform on. We will announce the teams prior to the game, so please try to be there around 6:00 pm.

The home Jr. High Volleyball game tonight vs. Pleasants County will be played in the High School gymnasium at 5:30 pm. The gates will not open until 5:00 pm.

Discover Accounting Day is September 29th. It is a great opportunity for our students to explore the career fields in accounting. If interested, please register with the QR code on the flyer or see Mrs. Campbell for more information or questions.
