Tickets for Friday's football game at John Glenn HS will be $5 cash at the gate. A livestream will be available on the YRPtv page on Youtube or on their Facebook page. Gates open at 5:00 pm. The game will be played at John Glenn High School not at Muskingum University.
FFHS student schedules are now accessible in Infinite Campus. If you do not have access, then please contact Mollie Zimmer at mollie.zimmer@fortfrye.org or 740-984-2376 in the high school office. You may owe fees. Parents may now make payments for student fees and lunches via Infinite Campus or in person.
Without state funding for free lunches for all students, Please complete Free and Reduced Applications in Infinite Campus under the "More" tab, the "Meal Benefits" or pick up an application in the High School Office.

School Starts Thursday, August 25 for all on campus students. Washington County Career center has juniors and new seniors start on Wednesday, Aug 24, then all students on Thursday August 25.
Washington State Community College classes start Monday, August 15.

Fort Frye High School will be hosting Morgan High School tonight at 7:00pm in a Football Preview/Scrimmage. Admission is $5 and passes are not accepted for the Preview/Scrimmage. Come check out and support both teams before they open the regular season next Friday.
We are excited to see all of our Seniors and parents tonight for our annual Senior Meeting and Barbecue (actually pizza). Senior photos as scheduled starting at 4:30pm in the auditorium, followed up by the meeting and food. Lots of important information, details, and timelines for our soon to be 2023 graduates. FFHS Class of 2023 Seniors and Parents, We are preparing to begins an exciting "SENIOR" year at FFHS. There are many special events and important information to be shared so everyone is aware and prepared. We will be conducting our annual "Senior Barbecue" and meeting on Thursday August 11th at 6:30pm in the FFHS cafeteria. Full academic requirements and progress will be shared for each student, Seniors in the Job Market requirements will be shared, Internship and Career opportunities will be shared, Herff Jones will provide Cap and Gown details, and much more important information will be collected, shared, and provided. This meeting is mandatory for all seniors and at least 1 parent/guardian. If there is an emergency that someone cannot make the meeting, please contact the High School office or Guidance Office. And YES, we will provide pizza, chips and drinks (thanks to Herff Jones). We are excited to See everyone on Thursday!

Reminder that tonight, Monday August 8th, at 6 pm we will have our Fall OHSAA Meeting, Individual Team Meetings, and Meet the Team. All fall student athletes in grades 7-12, and one parent/guardian must attend this meeting. The meeting will be held in the High School Auditorium.
Also, please be aware that due to a staff shortage with our medical provider, the beginning of the season/year substance testing window will be delayed. The testing window is extended through August 19th.

Fort Frye Fall Athletic Seasons, meetings, and requirements:
Fall athletics officially begin on August 1st. We are excited for continued success at Fort Frye. Here is some information to make sure everyone is prepared and ready to participate. If you have questions about team practice days and times, please contact the appropriate coach or contact the High School office for contact information.
The Fort Frye High School and Middle School OHSAA-mandated preseason meeting for parents and student-athletes planning to participate in a Fall Sport will be held on Monday, August 8th at 6:00 PM in the Fort Frye High School Auditorium. A group slide presentation will be followed by breakout meetings for parents and student-athletes with their respective sports coaches. The meetings will be followed up by the Fall Sports Meet the Team night at 7:00 PM.
All student-athletes planning to participate in Athletics must be registered prior to official practice beginning on August 1st with FINAL FORMS. You may access FINAL FORMS by clicking on the following site https://fortfrye-oh.finalforms.com and following all the prompts (instructions are included below). Final Forms is a comprehensive, one-stop shop for all of your athletics forms and the easy uploading of your child’s forms by clicking on the folder icon on your Final Forms account (see instructions for uploading documents attached below).
As a reminder, sports fees ($75 per athlete per sport) may be paid in-person at the parent meeting or by stopping in the High School office and are due by or before August 15. Sports physicals must be submitted prior to practicing (before August 1). Completion of the Final Forms account, submission of the up-to-date physical, payment of sports fees, and attendance at the mandatory meeting are required and will result in loss of participation privileges until addressed.

Steps to Register a Final Forms Account:
1) Go to https://fortfrye-oh.finalforms.com
2) Follow the prompts. Parent sets up an account, then the student account.
3) Parent and student must sign all forms (completed forms will turn "green")
Steps to upload a Physical Form on Final Forms:
1) Scan the full document (all 5 pages into 1 document) to your computer (desktop recommended).
2) Go to https://fortfrye-oh.finalforms.com
3) Log in to your account.
4) Access your student’s account, and click on the folder icon at the right of your screen.
5) At the bottom right of that screen, click on “Choose a File”. Locate your file to upload from your desktop and double click it to upload and save to your student’s account.
Fort Frye High School will be offering an online driver's education course with the additional driving hours beginning next year. Before the program can begin in the fall, we need to train our instructors. We are looking for 2 students to participate in the instructor training by taking the classes in person for a discounted cost of $250 ($100 savings).
These 2 Positions will be filled on a first come first serve basis.
LOCATION: Muskingum Valley ESC in Zanesville, Ohio
The dates of the training are July 25, 26, 27, 28 & August 1,2,3,4.
Classroom One
Section #1 will meet 9:00-12:00
Section #2 will meet 1:00-4:00
Section #3 will meet 6:00-9:00
Classroom Two
Section #1 will meet 9:00-12:00
Section #2 will meet 1:00-4:00
Section #3 will meet 6:00-9:00
Students must attend each session and will stay in the same section the entire program.

No official registration is being accepted for fall driver's education classes at FFHS, but to be put on the list, please email Suzi White at suzan.white@fortfrye.org. More information will be coming soon.
Free make up sports physicals will be offered Thursday June 23rd from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Sports Medicine Clinic on Wayne St. in Marietta. Appointment only. Physicals are for students entering grades 6 through 12. Information is in the link provided below.

Class of 2023 - SENIORS
As the Class of 2022 started last year, you can have your own personal parking space for the 2022-23 school year. If you would like to get a parking space and paint it this summer, here are the steps:
1. Email andy.schob@fortfrye.org your design for approval
2. Once you get approval, pick the spot you want from the available spots
3. Paint your spot
Parking spots are for any senior that attends at least 1 class during the school day. Spots that are painted are reserved for ONLY that senior all year.

Emma Richards has tied her school record in the 400m at the State Track Meet, and will run in the finals tomorrow. We are so proud of you Emma.
Students and parents: Fort Frye is offering summer credit recovery. Cost is $100 for the first half credit and $50 for each additional half credit. Check student email or guidance website for forms. Summer school forms and money MUST be turned in by 8:00am on Thursday, May 26th at the mandatory in-person orientation. Fill out the form if requesting a Chromebook.
Fort Frye Girls Basketball will be holding their Lady Cadet Basketball Camp on June 13, 14, & 15, from 9 am to 12 pm. This camp is for girls entering grades 3 through 8. Campers will receive a free t-shirt. Cost of the camp is $50. You can bring payment and register the first day of camp. Checks can be made out to Fort Frye Athletic Boosters.
