The Fort Frye FFA Novice Parliamentary Procedure team competed in the state competition today. The group advanced past the preliminary round earning the title of STATE FINALISTS and Top 5 team in the state of Ohio. The group competed in the finals this afternoon and will know their results, soon. We are really proud of this outstanding group!

Congratulations to the Fort Frye FFA Novice Parliamentary Procedure Team! On November 17th the team placed second in the District 10 contest and earned a ticket to the state competition. The state contest will be held this Saturday, December 2nd in Columbus. This group of girls demonstrated hard work, dedication, and perseverance learning how to properly demonstrate Robert’s Rules of Order, debate, and take a written test in Parliamentary law. We are so proud of this achievement! Team members include from left to right: Mollie Lang, Kallie Boley, Hannah Weiker, Alyssa White, Lucy Baker, Alyssa Lang, Haven Shilling and Reagan Witten.

Thanksgiving Break for Fort Frye Wednesday November 22nd through Monday November 27th. We will return to school on Tuesday November 28th. Students that attend the Career Center do have school on Wednesday November 22nd and busses will run for them that day. Everyone have a Happy Thanksgiving and enjoy some time with family and friends.

Congratulations to FFHS Sophomore, Parker Burris for earning a position on the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) Teen Wellness Team for the 2023-2024 program year! This was a very competitive process with over 650 applications submitted. The Teen Wellness Team is a unique opportunity for teens in Ohio to: * Learn about ODH and public health. * Get paid $14 an hour to provide feedback on programs that impact youth. * Meet students from all over the state. * Work in teams to problem solve and improve programs for youth. We are proud of Parker and know he will have an outstanding contribution on the team!
