A special Thank You to everyone that participated in our ALICE safety drill at FFHS on Thursday. Our staff and students did an outstanding job responding to the drill scenario. To have almost 50 members of the Washington County Sheriff's Department, Beverly Police, Ohio Highway State Patrol, Beverly and Waterford EMT's and Fire and Rescue participate in the drill to help prepare and train our students and staff is very much appreciated. We live in such a wonderful and supportive community!
ARMOUR UP!
Just a reminder that reserving seats at the playoff games is not allowed. Any blankets, chairs, etc. that are in the stadium area prior to the gates opening will be removed. Gates will open to the public at 5:15 pm. Also no battery or electric noise makers are permitted.
In an effort to keep everyone informed and safe, Fort Frye High School will
be holding an ALICE active shooter drill during the morning hours of Thursday October 26, 2023.
During this drill local law enforcement agencies, fire departments, EMS, and
Life Flight will be participating and in the area. Emergency personnel, along with the students and staff will be responding as if to an actual active shooter. There can be anxiety by all participants in this drill, but the ultimate goal is to help train everyone in the event that anyone would be put in a situation like this anytime in the future. This is only a DRILL. As Fort Frye strives to keep our students, staff, and community safe, we thank you for your continued support. Go Cadets!
