Good morning families! As we all know, winter weather is certainly unpredictable and we didn’t anticipate having difficulty getting everyone to school safely today so Chrome books were not sent home yesterday. We will have a simplified version of remote learning today as we know that many people need the Chromebooks in order to make it successful. We will post a few activities to attempt today, then tomorrow we will make sure that everyone has access and time to engage with activities, and we will extend the amount of time for students to complete the tasks given today. We appreciate your flexibility as we work with winter weather!

Sheriff Mark Warden, from the Washington County sheriffs department and School resource officer, deputy Tonya Tullius, came and spoke with the fifth graders at both Lowell and Salem-Liberty Elementary about making good decisions and not letting peer pressure get the best of them. In addition, drug and alcohol use were discussed and talked about. The students were very engaged and interested in Mr. Warden and Miss Tullius's presentation. Thank you!
