Last week Deerassic Park Education Center visited Salem-Liberty and did a presentation called "The Scoop on Poop". The students enjoyed a fun interactive program on Ohio mammal scat. Students learned interesting facts about animal poop and got to see replica samples. This was a great learning experience. Thanks to the Salem-Liberty P.T.O. for paying for this enjoyable learning experience for our students.

A 1st grade STEM Olympic activity was completed yesterday. Student partners designed and built their Olympic bobsleds. They completed 1 trial run, redesigned and then competed again. This was a great lesson learned about design, how weight affects speed, and so much more! It was loads of fun too!
