As part of our Veterans Day activities, all students answered a prompt about America. All responses were pieced together to make one large flag, representing our school and the United States.

What a fantastic Veterans Day Assembly this morning! A special thank you to the Beverly American Legion Post 389, the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 389, and the Beverly Lions Club for joining us today. Another big thank you to all of the families that were able to attend and support our students as they led our school wide assembly. With your support, Beverly-Center students were able to raise $616.00 to donate to the Beverly American Legion in support of Veterans programs.
Kindergarten- Made decorations for the school and appreciation notes
1st Grade- Sang "You're a Grand Old Flag"
2nd Grade- Read a poem with hand gestures
3rd Grade- Readings with posters
4th Grade- Slide show with students slides on "What Freedom Means to Me"
5th Grade- Managed the assembly and held the candle lighting ceremony
