The Washington County Board of developmental disabilities came out to read a book about inclusion of all to Lowell elementary first graders yesterday. The book Strictly No Elephants was given to each student as well. Thank you, Jennifer Klintworth for your excellent lesson on inclusion.

Today building bridges to careers (BB2C) came and worked with third through fifth grade. Students had to work as a team and build the longest freestanding bridge, highest freestanding tower, fastest Lego car, and coding a path for a small robot. This was a great event for the students.










Just a reminder that tomorrow is a One Hour Early Dismissal (3:00).
We have two schools that do not dismiss until 4 p..m. and many students in extracurriculars after school, we will be dismissing one hour early this Friday, March 7, so that our fans can safely travel to support our Lady Cadets in the Final Four. We will play Rootstown at 7 p.m. at Claymont High School. Go Cadets!

Today we conducted a paired reading. This is where students are paired up from various grade levels and they read books to each other. This is a great activity and encourages reading, while meeting new friends.
